 Film making 102 - process documentary Introduction: For this part of the project, we had to make a mini documentary that was 60 secs long that showed the process of something that someone did, and for this i chose Freya's ballet. For my process documentary i am doing it about Freya's ballet class. I will be going to her class on Tuesday 8th Feb to film the process of her going to and participating in the class. I will be doing this by filming Freya getting ready and doing her dance class.  In the first section of the process documentary i did Freya getting her back ready and packed to go, following by her getting a drink and getting in the car etc. Then she was walking up the stairs and entering. This is used when they do not have good sound quality and have to make it some other way. In it, they used many different sounds to represent each part of the car crash. For example, They need the actual crash, which for this you could use pans clicking together, banging them on a table. For the outskirts of the noises, there are many more things you could use. For example, there is many background noises you may need like fire, of the car, the radio and people talking or screaming. Music Video Analysis/ Production Diary

The song we chose for our music video was Love joys ‘Knee deep at the ATP’. The people in my group was Freya Whitehouse, Jack Fowler and Bailey Blyth.  The first thing we had to do for the video was choose the song. This part was quite easy as Freya already had a few songs in mind that we could use. It was out of three songs, mostly by love joy. However the song we chose, we thought would be best fit for the music video style we were doing. The music video inspiration was ‘Him’ by James Marriott. In this music video, there was many different shots put together to fit the speed of that section of the song. So for example, at the beginning of the video it was fast and there was many different shots of random things like birds, buildings, dogs and people all in the area it was filmed. There was then a slower pace to the video where the singing started and then it had different shots of him singing in different places. This continued throughout the song.
